White Light Healing: A 15-Minute Cleansing and Clearing Meditation
This guided meditation gently leads you through a body scan to release tension and stress. Using the visualization of a cleansing white light, you’ll connect deeply with the earth and the universe, cultivating relaxation, inner peace, and renewal.
Meditation
Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down, ensuring your head and neck are supported. Close your eyes and take a deep breath.
Drop your shoulders, relax your jaw, and breathe in and out. Allow yourself to settle into this moment as we begin a 15-minute journey to restore your mind, body, and spirit.
Breathing and Intention
Focus on your breath.
- Inhale: “I am breathing in.”
- Exhale: “I am breathing out.”
With every breath, let your mind and body relax more and more. Allow any thoughts to come and go, gently bringing your focus back to your breath and the mantra:
- “I am breathing in.”
- “I am breathing out.”
Body Scan
Use your awareness to scan through your body:
- Notice any tension, tightness, or heaviness.
- Release stress, worry, or fear from your body and emotions.
- Allow any heavier energy to melt away.
Visualizing White Light
Imagine a beautiful white light above your head. This light represents the universe, God, or unconditional love—whatever resonates with you.
Let the light gently flow:
- Across the top of your head, relaxing the forehead, eyes, and jaw.
- Down the back of the neck, shoulders, and along your spine.
- Through each vertebra, softening the muscles and calming the nervous system.
Feel the light flow through your chest, arms, hands, and fingers, bringing peace and calm. Let it expand your heart space, filling it with love and tranquility.
Grounding with Mother Earth
Allow the white light to flow down your legs, through your feet, and into the earth. Visualize Mother Earth sending her nourishing energy back up into your body, connecting deeply with the light above your head.
Feel the gentle flow of energy moving:
- From the heavens, through your body, to the earth.
- From the earth, back through your body, to the heavens.
This rhythmic flow creates peace and relaxation within and around your body.
Anchoring Peace
Let this energy settle in your heart space, anchoring in all the peace, love, and restorative energy you’ve cultivated. Feel refreshed, restored, and deeply connected to yourself and the world around you.
Returning to the Present
As the meditation comes to an end:
- Wiggle your toes and fingers.
- Place your hands over your heart and thank yourself for taking this time for self-care.
- Smile as you stretch your arms and legs.
When you’re ready, gently open your eyes and return fully to the present, feeling peaceful and renewed.
