Talking to Your Body Healing Practice

Hello and welcome, dear one. This is Jennifer Michaels, and today we’ll be focusing on a healing practice called Talking to Your Body. This practice is about opening a loving dialogue with your body to foster healing, balance, and restoration.

Your body listens to your words, thoughts, and emotions. By creating a compassionate and nurturing connection with it, you can invite greater health and alignment into your being.

Preparing for Connection

Take a moment to find a comfortable place where you can sit or lie down. Make sure your head and neck are supported. Close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose, and then exhale slowly through your mouth.

As you breathe, allow your shoulders to drop, your jaw to relax, and your body to settle into the present moment.

Beginning the Conversation

Bring your awareness to your body as a whole. Visualize your body as a trusted companion—someone who has supported you through every step of your journey.

Speak gently to your body:

Feel a wave of gratitude flowing through you as you acknowledge the incredible work your body does every day.

Scanning and Listening

Now, slowly scan your body from head to toe. Pay attention to areas of tightness, tension, or discomfort. When you notice these places, gently say:

If you feel called to, place your hand over any area that feels tense or heavy. Imagine sending warmth, love, and care into that space. Let your body know it is safe to relax and heal.

Inviting Healing Energy

As you continue breathing, visualize a golden or white light entering your body with every inhale. Imagine this light traveling to the areas that need healing.

Affirm to your body:

Feel the light expanding, bringing peace, vitality, and balance to every part of your being.

Releasing and Supporting

If you encounter any areas of resistance or heaviness, gently ask your body:

Listen quietly for any answers, feelings, or sensations. Trust what arises, knowing your body is guiding you toward what it needs to release or heal.

Affirm:

Closing the Practice

Take a deep breath in and exhale fully. Visualize your entire body glowing with vibrant health and harmony. Whisper or say aloud:

When you’re ready, gently wiggle your fingers and toes, and bring your awareness back to the present moment. Place your hands over your heart, and take a moment to thank yourself for showing up for this practice.

Final Words

Thank you for taking this time to connect with your body in a loving and healing way. Remember, this practice can be revisited anytime you need it.

I love you, and Floww loves you. Be well.
