Energetic Cleansing: Clearing Your Home, Land, and Vehicles
Hello and welcome. My name is Jennifer Michaels, and today, I want to share something really important—how to energetically cleanse and clear your home, land, and even your vehicles.
This topic came up for me recently when a client I worked with nine years ago reached out again. Back then, I helped her cleanse and clear her home, and now, in a new space, she asked me to do it again. It reminded me just how powerful this process is, and I wanted to share it with you so that you can do it for yourself whenever your space needs an energetic reset.
If you’ve ever walked into a space and immediately felt heavy, anxious, or unsettled, you’ve experienced how energy lingers. Every conversation, emotion, and experience leaves an imprint. If that energy isn’t cleared, it can become stagnant, dense, or even chaotic.
Today, I’ll walk you through exactly how to cleanse and clear your home, land, and vehicles.
The Two-Part Process
The key to this process is that there are two parts:
- Energetic Cleansing – Using meditation, visualization, intention, and prayer to clear stagnant energy.
- Physical Clearing – Decluttering, cleaning, and smudging to fully reset the energy in your space.
Let’s begin.
Step 1: Cleansing Yourself First
Before you start clearing your space, take a moment to check in with yourself. Your own energy affects your surroundings. If you’re feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or out of balance, it’s important to reset your vibration first.
- Sit in meditation or prayer and take deep breaths.
- Use a guided meditation (like those in our Living Library) to ground yourself.
- Smudge yourself with sage or Palo Santo, or take a salt bath to wash away any lingering energy.
- If there’s been tension in your home, set the intention for harmony and peace.
Once you feel clear and centered, you’re ready to move forward.
Step 2: Energetically Cleansing Your Home, Land, and Vehicles
This step works with the energy of your space through meditation, visualization, intention, and prayer.
For Your Home
- Close your eyes and imagine walking through each room.
- Visualize white or golden light flowing into every corner, behind furniture, under beds, and into closets—anywhere energy might be stuck.
- Set the intention:
May this space be cleared of all lower vibrational energy. May it now be filled with peace, love, and harmony.
- If any areas feel dense or heavy, spend extra time there. Your spirit team may guide you to focus on certain places, like electrical outlets, plumbing, or storage areas.
For Your Land
- In your mind’s eye, walk the perimeter of your land and see white light pouring into the earth.
- Thank the land for supporting you and holding space for you.
- Imagine a dome of protective energy forming around your property, allowing only love and positive energy to enter.
- Set the intention that anyone who enters is blessed.
For Your Vehicles
- Visualize your car filled with bright white light, clearing out any stress or past energy.
- Say a blessing such as:
May this vehicle be a space of peace, safety, and protection for all who travel in it.
- Imagine a shield of light around your car, keeping it energetically protected.
Once you’ve completed this meditation, your space has already begun to shift.
Step 3: Physically Clearing Your Space
After clearing the energy, you need to clear the stuff. Clutter and disorganization hold onto lower vibrational energy.
For Your Home
- Declutter – Marie Kondo teaches that we should only keep what sparks joy. If something is broken, unused, or carries old emotional weight, it’s time to let it go.
- Remove stagnant items – Old clothes, mail, unnecessary papers, sentimental items from past relationships—if they don’t bring happiness, release them.
- Deep clean – Open windows, wipe surfaces, vacuum, dust, and clean corners, under furniture, and inside closets where stagnant energy collects.
For Your Land
- Walk through your yard and remove any trash or debris.
- Trim overgrown plants and care for your garden.
- Express gratitude for your land’s beauty and nourishment.
For Your Vehicles
- Clean out your car—remove trash, vacuum the interior, wipe down surfaces, and wash the exterior.
- Clearing physical clutter removes energetic stagnation.
Step 4: Smudging and Blessing Your Space
Now that everything is energetically and physically clear, it’s time to seal in the fresh energy using sage, Palo Santo, or sound healing.
- Light sage or Palo Santo and walk through each room, waving the smoke around.
- Focus on doors and windows, as these are major energy passageways.
- Say blessings as you move through the space:
This home is filled with love and light. Please cleanse and clear this space.
- Draw a cross or symbol of protection over doors and windows using the smoke.
- Speak positive affirmations or prayers out loud if possible.
Smudge your yard and vehicles as well.
- Walk the perimeter of your property, saying blessings for your neighbors, whether you like them or not.
- Smudge your vehicle, setting the intention for it to remain a safe and peaceful space.
Step 5: Checking in with the Energy
Once the energetic, physical, and smudging processes are complete, take time to sit with the energy and check in.
- Take a deep breath and notice how the space feels now compared to before.
- Ask yourself: Is there anything else that needs to be released?
- Trust any guidance you receive and follow through.
- Express gratitude for your home, land, and vehicle—they are living beings that support and protect you.
Final Thoughts
Keeping your space energetically clear isn’t a one-time thing—it’s an ongoing practice. Just like you take care of your body and emotions, your environment needs to be regularly cleared.
By following this process—starting with energetic cleansing, then physical clearing, and finally smudging—you create a space that feels lighter, peaceful, and aligned with your highest self.
Try this practice regularly, especially after major life changes, stressful events, or any time your space starts to feel off. You’ll notice the difference not just in your environment, but in yourself.
So take a deep breath, look around, and enjoy the beautiful energy you’ve created.
You deserve to live in a space that truly feels like home.
Thank you for being here. Be well.
