A Guided Breathing Exercise for Quick Energy Alignment

Hello and welcome.

This is a short guided breathing exercise that will take about five minutes. You can follow along with this recording or, once you understand the process, practice it anytime on your own.

Preparing for the Practice

Find a quiet and safe place where you can be undisturbed. You may sit in a comfortable lotus position or lay back—whatever feels good to you. However you choose to position yourself, allow your spine to be in natural alignment, with your head balanced over your shoulders.

We’ll begin with a few deep breaths, letting go of any tension. Drop your shoulders and relax your body.

Breathing with Light

On each inhale, breathe in towards the sky. On each exhale, direct your breath downward:

Now, breathe at your own pace, letting this rhythm settle within you.

Visualizing the Light

As you continue, imagine a stream of light flowing from the heavens. Your exhales may naturally become longer than your inhales—this is beneficial for regulating many systems within the physical body.

Let this light be a color that feels right for you:

Whichever color resonates with your soul, trust it. You may also see a combination of these lights—let it be what feels good to your heart and spirit.

Flowing with the Breath

Let’s begin again, now connecting breath with light:

  1. Inhale towards the heavens.
  2. Exhale, allowing the light to flow down toward the ground.
  3. Inhale towards the heavens.
  4. Exhale, letting the light flow towards the throat.
  5. Inhale towards the heavens.
  6. Exhale towards the heart.
  7. Inhale towards the heavens.
  8. Exhale towards the solar plexus.
  9. Inhale towards the heavens.
  10. Exhale towards the sacral.
  11. Inhale towards the heavens.
  12. Exhale towards the root.

Repeat this cycle three times, allowing the light to align, balance, cleanse, and clear your entire energy body. Feel the fresh oxygen reaching your brain, your cells, and the radiant energy expanding through your aura.

Closing the Practice

To complete the exercise, take one final deep breath:

Breathe at your own pace, noticing how you feel. This simple yet powerful practice aligns and balances your energy, refreshes your mind, and reconnects you with your higher self.

Use this anytime you need clarity, peace, or a sense of renewal. You are always welcome to return to this guided meditation whenever you feel called to.

Thank you for being here today. Wishing you a beautiful rest of your day or evening, wherever you are in time.

Be well.
